The Watts SCT-5020SWMB replacement Yellow Series Water Filter uses a list of extensive features for higher dirt-loading capacity and greater efficiency than standard wound cartridges. An outer pre-filter is manufactured using 100% polypropylene yarn that captures particles down to 50 microns in size. The inner melt blown thermally bonded polypropylene fibers capture particles 20 microns in size. This unique design extends inner filter life by eliminating premature caking and prevents down stream media migration common in string cartridges. The Watts SCT-5020SWMB is an ideal filter for food and beverage applications, per-filtration for reverse osmosis systems, electronics applications, plating solutions, corrosive fluids, and effective in the filtration of concentrated acids and alkali.
Each Watts SCT-5020SWMB replacement comes with a unique handle designed top cap for lightweight and easy removal, a bag for proper disposal, and a double o-ring bottom connection into the Watts Cartridge Tank SCT125 or SCT200, plumbing adapter for the 2-1/2″ assembly and full 1-1/4″ PVC glue socket flow rate connections.
