Activated Carbon Filter
FILTR Revolution comes with an activated carbon filter. The carbon filter will help remove smells and VOCs (volatile organic compound)
Recommended that it be replaced after 4 months of regular use. The filter may need to be changed out more frequently if the Revolution unit is in an area with a large amount of pollution, or the lifetime may be able to be extended if the area has very light pollution.
Higher humidity levels (above 50%) will have an effect on carbon filtration. The higher the humidity the less adsorption the carbon filter will be.
Humidity will not affect the HEPA filter’s performance in terms of particle capture.
