The AprilAire 104 Replacement Filter is a genuine replacement media for the AprilAire 2140 Air Cleaner. This high capacity filter media reduces airborne particles such as pollen, mold, spores, dust and other airborne allergens. The AprilAire brand is also identified by the following spelling variations: April Air, April Aire and Aprilair.
Depending on the operation of your heating/air conditioning system, replace your AprilAire 104 Filter every 6 months for optimum performance. Frequent attention is required if your air conditioning system is larger than 3.5 tons or heating systems larger than 130,000 BTU’s per hour (1400) that operate continuously. The efficiency of your AprilAire Air Cleaner filter increases with usage. It is at its lowest efficiency point when it is brand new. Check your pleat spacers each time you change your filter.
