The Hydronix 40″ Sediment Filter Cartridge is the economical replacement for the Liquatec SDF-25-4025 Filter. Compared to conventional filters, this Hydronix filter has 4 separate layers of micron filtration and the outside-in flow allows the outer layer of this sediment depth filter to trap larger sized particles resulting in a lower pressure drop. This 25 micron filter is also known as part number SDC-25-4025. Made of 100% polypropylene, the Hydronix water filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants such as silt, sand, sediment and rust.

The Hydronix SDC-25-4025 filter is commonly used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters). It is ideal for a wide range of commercial, industrial, food service and residential applications. This filter cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International under ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for material requirements only. Do not use this sediment filter with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
