The JFC002-B uses a natural coconut shell activated carbon filter media that has a 99% removal rate of chlorine from your tap water. By using a high-quality non-sodium resin, the JFC002-B removes scale and ensures that harmful salt doesn’t enter your drinking water. For optimal performance and efficiency, the manufacturer recommends replacing the JFC002-B filter every 40 weeks or 40 gallons.
