The Hydronix CB-45-1001 10-inch Carbon Filter is a carbon block cartridge replacement for several filtration uses. The 10-in carbon filter is made from high purity coconut shell carbon, one of the most effective types of carbon on the market, and has a 1 micron rating. This coconut filter can be used in food service industries, commercial and industrial sites, and even in a residences. With its 4.5″ diameter, it can be used as a whole house filter or as an under sink filter. The Hydronix CB-45-1001 can be used as a replacement for the Liquatec CB-450-975-01 and Pentek 155170-43.
This coconut carbon filter can handle impurities that may be found in drinking water. Taste can be improved and odors can be removed, while contaminants like dirt, rust, and carbon fines can be reduced. This carbon filter can also reduce high cholrine levels in water by replacing GAC filters (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters. In addition to carbon block water filters, Hydronix also manufactures a line of sediment filter cartridges to reduce particulates from drinking water. These filter cartridges come in micron ratings of 1, 5, 10, 25, 30, 50, and 75 based on your filtration needs.
