The Aries 10″ Calcite Filter Cartridge AF-10-3231 is a replacement water filter cartridge for standard 10″ water filter housings. This drinking water filter cartridge features calcite media that raises the low, or acidic, pH of your water from 5.0 to 7.0, resulting in filter media that dissolves on contact and will stop when the PH is 7.0 In addition, calcite media raises water hardness 4-5 GPG (grains per gallon). Calcite filters are ideally used in situations requiring low pH and neutralization.
